Guest blogging has been touted by some bloggers as a great means to achieve some sort of popularity and recognition. They say it will open doors for you to reach’new heights’ in your blogging experience. Let me say here that I am no fan of suspect blogging and recently I do not hear much about it unlike any past years. I’m convinced it is still happening somewhere in the Blogosphere, but I guess it has gone lame.
The argument is that guest blogging can help generate exposure, links and traffic to your own blog. Evidently, this is the motivation that got many bloggers posting on other people’s blogs to gain that extra mileage.
If you would like to move in the airport, once you joined the blogging community, then you might think guest blogging would improve the user experience. But you’ve got to obtain an’entry ticket’ before you’re accepted by any other blogger whose website is your target.
To do that, you have to show that you have got what it takes to compose well – with fantastic info, tips and whatever – to cut it though, otherwise do not even think about it… unless your host blogger is such a wooden mind to allow you to post some fluff on his or her website. Well, there are some. You will be surprised where you can find them!
You can conduct a high-octane blog if you have that sort of energy and motivation like some bloggers that seem to be able to conjure up’endless posts’ as guest bloggers. Some do it for the money because so A-list bloggers are somewhat more likely to’have a break’ out of blogging, so guest bloggers are welcome to add their two cents worth of articles. .
If you would detect lately, some of these blogs are sort of running out of steam with dull articles or rehash. How frequently have you encounter some bloggers that write about how they are stuck with writer’s block for desire of fresh ideas to post. That is where guest bloggers come in the image to keep the wheels spinning. .
Despite all this’damage control’ attempt, the trend is showing that these blogs are slipping down from their high horse.
When guest blogging has been hot, lots of bloggers are so caught up with the guest blogging trend, you just wonder if they pay more attention to other people’s blogs instead of attending to their own blog garden. We simply don’t buy it when some bloggers say”we love guest blogging” Some bloggers are so enamoured of what they are doing, they’d return to their blogs and glorify guest blogging into high heaven.
It makes you an authority by performing quality writing on other people’s blogs.
(If you’re a good writer why can not you become an authority on your own blog? Do you really mean you can’t produce excellent materials on your own website? The adrenalin only escapes when you’re writing for somebody else)
(Is that the only way to construct decent relationship? There is more than 1 way to skin a cat, partner!) .
And, needless to say, it gets you deep links and increase your RSS subscribers.
(Sure, it is going to profit you backlinks and that RSS jazz, but if they discover there’s not much to yell about in your own blog, their interest will gradually grow chilly. Talk about leaving a chilly trail!)
And yada, yada, yada.
Okay, there is no right or wrong about guest blogging. It is only a matter of preference or taste we either want to perform or not at all.gardening guest post Having said that, we’re the stay-at-home kind of bloggers. We like to tend to our own garden and watch the flowers bloom… in our own manner. We are not that desperate to do guest blogging in order to gain those extra links and get comprehended in that fashion.
It’s been several years since guest blogging took off. We are going to see in another year or 2 whether those hype-crazed guest bloggers are still running around or grinding to a stop. Of course, there’ll be opinions to the contrary.
Guest blogging may only take you so much – and it is a downhill ride for your blog if you don’t start growing your own flowers. Expecting that guest blogging will get you some extra RSS feed readers (or setting up the amounts as some might do) won’t help much since, in the end of the afternoon, the vast majority of those people do not read their feeds or come seeing. Most men and women wind up with a lot of things to do and they can not just waste precious time reading feeds everyday or anything. Some only forget their subscriptions.
In other words, there is not much value in attempting to find this sort of traffic to your blog. What you will need is to gain organic traffic or search engine traffic. People coming via this traffic path have a purpose as well as the keywords that got your website onto the SERPs in the first place (ideally on the front page) would be the baits which drove them to a blog. Who wants guest blogging for that?
We’re already seeing many blogs struggling to stay afloat, particularly the’make money online’ bloggers who are the most likely individuals to fall for guest blogging. So much has been written about the absurd syndrome endured by’make cash online’ bloggers, but then, newbies are still wet behind the ears!
1 nagging question: But how come those recognized A-list bloggers don’t do guest blogging themselves? A penny for your consideration. I rest my case.Read More
